Step 1: Remove Cover

Use a plastic opening tool or a guitar pick to open the Proxmark's top cover. Gently insert the opening tool into the gap on the top cover, and run the tool along the seam to remove the cover.

Step 2: Remove Connector Cover

Using a pair of tweezers, remove the plastic cover that protects the accessory connector.

Step 3: Position & Push the module

Position the connector on the bottom of the PCB into the connector on the Proxmark 5. When they are aligned, press them together gently but firmly, until you hear a click.

Step 4: Insert Battery

Settle the battery into the plastic cavity. If you want an extra secure fit, you can remove the peel from the double-sided tape on the back of the battery.

Step 5: Close Cover

Position the Proxmark's top cover back in place. When aligned, press gently but firmly until the cover clicks into place.
