Introduction
Lab401's DigiLab by tixlegeek is a Flipper Zero® accessory that introduces a new way to explore electronics. Designed to be the first tool you reach for when you're developing, debugging, tinkering or exploring digital electronics.
Want to feel voltages? See signals? Hear protocols? Reach directly into the memory of sensors and modules? Sounds crazy, but it's possible with the DigiLab.
Discover signals via the Scope application, probe for voltages and frequencies in the Probe function, and detect, discover and directly interact with SPI & I2C devices via the SPI Probe and I2C Probe functions.
By combining an RGB LED, Flipper's speaker and vibration motor, you can see voltages fluctuations, hear the difference between different protocols, and feel the different signals flowing around a circuit.
The DigiLab is even compatible with the full range of BusPirate accessories; making SPI and I2C exploration even more easy. It's 100% Open Source and Open Hardware, and is the perfect combination of functional, fun and educational that your Flipper has been waiting for.
If you love electronics, you'll love Lab401's DigiLab.
Discover what's possible with the DigiLab
See, hear and feel circuits
The DigiLab's Scope function allows you to see, hear and feel voltages and signals: it honestly feels a bit magic.
Which is CAN_HI and CAN_LO? They sound completely different!. What's the baud rate on this line? Sounds like 9600bps! Display voltage gradients via RGB LED? Totally possible!
Probe, measure and detect signals
The Probe function allows you to rapidly map out a circuit during debug or development.
Where are the data traces? Is the serial interface active? Is there a signal on this line? Is this plain 5v or is it UART? What's the frequency of the signal? Get answers quickly with the Probe tool.
Discover and identify I2C and SPI devices
The DigiLab has a built-in Predictive Engine for rapidly identifing I2C and SPI devices.
Working with chips that have no markings? Uncover its secrets without fuss. Need to identify multiple devices on the same bus? No problems! With DigiLab, discovery & identification is painless!

Real-time, direct I2C & SPI interaction
Discover, read and Write directly to and from sensors, memory and other I2C prehipherals.
Forget fighting with Arduinos & ESP-32s - the DigiLab just made SPI & I2C manipulation simple. Debugging and development with modules is a breeze: get hands on directly with the devices!

Detailed functionality
Scope Tool The scope tool provides an oscilloscope-style screen, with real-time, average and max voltage and the wave-form of the detected signal. When coupled with the feedback options it becomes a powerful way to navigate circuits.
Sound
- Off - no audio feedback
- Alert - Audio triggers when "Alert" condition is met
- On - Follows the voltage/signal measured
- Off - no haptic feedback
- Alert - Triggers when "Alert" condition is met
- Off - no LED feedback
- Alert - Triggers when "Alert" condition is met
- Follow - Follows the voltage (0v Green, 12v Red)
- Variance - Follows the calculated variance of the measured signal
- Trigger - Follows when signal exceeds auto-calculated trigger level
- Voltage - v<3.3, v>3.3, v<5, v>5, MAX
- Osc - When signal oscillates around 0v (digital signals, clocks, communications)
- ~x - When signal is close to x volts
Probe Tool The Probe tool is ideal for initial circuit exploration or debugging multiple pins via the clear real-time UI:
- Voltage Range: 0 - 12v
- Frequencies: Up to ~200kHz
- Real-time voltage indicator
- Real-time frequency indicator
