Tesla S hack powered by Open Source tools

It's been widely reported that the Tesla Model S has been successfully hacked - keyfobs can be snatched and emulated rapidly and easily.

Even more interesting is the use of 'off the shelf' hardware - a Proxmark, Yardstick one and Raspberry Pi formed the hardware backbone of the hack.
Lab401 congratulates COSIC's researchers for their hard work and responsible disclosure.
By the way - we noticed that @COSIC are using V1 Proxmarks - if you'd like to upgrade to RDV4s - send us an email!
