The Flipper Zero is an open-source project, KIISU is a credit-card sized Flipper Zero compatible device. Everything you can do on a Flipper: NFC, RFID, SubGHz, Infrared, Bluetooth, iButton - you can do on KIISU.

There's even bunch of extra sensors - temperature, light, air-pressure, accelerometer & compass you can use!

THE ORIGIN STORY

KIISU is the first fully-compatible device built from Flipper Zero's open-source schematics. Originally built as a proof-of-concept, KIISU scratches an itch for multiple people: it's budget-friendly, its naked PCB format is easier to hack and develop on, it's got a bunch of extra sensors - and its form factor means you can always have a Flipper in your pocket.

1. DREAM SCREEN

KIISU's screen is an identical resolution OLED for beautiful crisp black and white pixels.

2. FLIPPER, BUT FLATTER

All hardware, firmware (original and alternative) and software (desktop, cli and mobile apps) are completely compatible with the original Flipper.

3. BATTERIES INCLUDED

Rechargeable LIR2032 batteries give KIISU juice on the go - it really is a Flipper for your wallet!

What are the functional differences between the KIISU and Flipper?

Although this board can run almost any Flipper Zero firmware, there are a few limitations:

  • It lacks Flipper Zero secret keys, so some SubGhz rolling-code protocols and U2F may not work with official firmware.
  • Antennas performance may vary.
  • Certain schematic differences mean features like battery status rely on Aux MCU firmware.

I flashed Flipper Firmware onto the KIISU, and see "No Factory Keys Found. Secure enclosure is damaged. Some apps will not work".

Because the KIISU hardware is not produced by Flipper Labs - it doesn't have their factory keys - so the Flipper Firmware shows this notification. The "no factory keys damaged enclave" only impacts functions where Official Flipper keys are required: some SubGHZ rolling codes, and the U2F functionality. In stock KIISU firmware that notification is hidden - this notification only appears when running official Flipper firmware.
